Brockville-based, province-wide reach

OntarioSupervision.ca is headquartered in Brockville. We're not a downtown Toronto firm with a generic provincial postcode — we're an eastern Ontario practice that grew by serving clinicians across the entire province virtually, and we still maintain strong roots in the Brockville and Leeds-Grenville community.

Since 2024, 315 Ontario clinicians have trusted us with their clinical supervision — and 87% have returned after their first session.

What CRPO requires (and what we provide)

For supervision to count toward CRPO registration, your supervisor needs to be in good standing with a regulatory college whose members may practise psychotherapy, with at least five years of clinical experience, independent practice status (1,000 DCC hours and 150 supervision hours), 30 hours of directed learning in providing clinical supervision, and completion of CRPO's online supervision module.

CRPO doesn't pre-approve supervisors — the responsibility sits with you to verify your supervisor meets the criteria.

Every supervisor on our team meets these requirements. We provide:

  • Proper supervision agreements that align with CRPO standards

  • Hour-tracking documentation generated automatically through Jane App

  • Receipts and records that hold up under audit

  • Supervision in all CRPO-recognized formats: individual, dyadic, and structured group (capped at 8)

Who we work with in Brockville and eastern Ontario

Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying) working toward full registration — building supervised hours while managing caseloads in Brockville, Kingston, Smiths Falls, Cornwall, and the broader Leeds-Grenville region.

Graduate students from eastern Ontario training programs and online programs whose practicum sites require external supervision. We're an approved external supervisor for Yorkville University's MACP and regularly support practicum students from comparable programs across the province.

Clinicians in smaller communities where qualified local supervisors are scarce, who would otherwise need to drive hours each week to attend in-person supervision.

Clinic owners and group practice leads in eastern Ontario looking to outsource supervision across their team — ensuring CRPO compliance without absorbing the administrative load themselves.

Clinicians directed by CRPO to seek additional supervision, who deserve a thoughtful, non-judgmental space to do that work.

Supervision formats and rates

Group Supervision — $95 per two-hour session. Five specialized weekly cohorts, capped at eight therapists. Run by experienced clinical supervisors and organised around clinical orientation — integrative, relational/attachment-focused, ACT/EFT, and child & youth

Dyadic Supervision — $95 per supervisee per hour. Paired with one other supervisee for a more focused conversation than group, at a more accessible rate than individual. We'll match you if you don't have a partner in mind.

Individual Supervision — $185 per hour. One-on-one with a supervisor who gets to know your practice. Best for working through specific cases or wanting tailored feedback.

External MACP Supervision for graduate students whose programs require an external supervisor. Contact us for pricing.

Why virtual supervision suits clinicians in eastern Ontario

For clinicians in Brockville and the surrounding region, the math on virtual supervision is straightforward. The closest concentration of qualified in-person supervisors is in Ottawa or Kingston — both of which mean a meaningful drive each week, on top of the supervision itself.

Virtual supervision lets you take a session from your office, your home, or between client appointments. Evening cohorts mean you don't have to block out daytime hours that could otherwise be billable. You get matched with a supervisor whose orientation and availability genuinely fit your practice, rather than choosing from whoever happens to be within driving distance.

For clinicians in the smaller communities served by our practice — places where there may be only one or two qualified supervisors total — virtual supervision is often the only practical way to find a good clinical match. We've heard from supervisees who tried in-person supervision in their nearest city and found it wasn't worth the four hours of weekly travel; we've heard from others who found that the only local option wasn't a good fit clinically. Virtual supervision solves both problems.

Hour tracking and attestation

Our internal Jane App system can generate a complete report of every supervision session you've attended with us — dates, times, format, and supervisor — at the click of a button. Attestation forms can be emailed to admin@ontariosupervision.ca and are typically signed and returned within 24 to 48 hours.

In our years of providing clinical supervision, we've never had a single hour declined by CRPO

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer in-person supervision in Brockville? We don't currently offer in-person supervision — all our work is virtual via secure video. This is what allows us to maintain a province-wide team of supervisors and match you with someone whose orientation actually fits your practice, rather than limiting you to whoever's within driving distance.

Can I do supervision from my Brockville office between client sessions? Yes, provided you have a private space and a stable internet connection. This is one of the more practical ways our local supervisees fit supervision into a full clinical day.

Are most of your supervisees actually based in Brockville? No — our practice serves clinicians across the entire province. Brockville is our base, but we work with supervisees from Toronto to Thunder Bay. That breadth is part of what allows us to maintain a roster of supervisors across multiple orientations.

Do you offer evening sessions for clinicians who see clients during the day? Yes. Several of our cohorts run in the evening, and individual supervision can usually be arranged outside business hours.

How quickly can I start? Most new supervisees are matched and scheduled within a week of their free 15-minute consult. Group cohorts have rolling availability; individual and dyadic supervision can usually start sooner.
