Clinical Supervision in Mississauga
CRPO-compliant clinical supervision built around how Mississauga clinicians actually work — virtual, evening-friendly, and matched to your clinical focus rather than your postal code. $95 per session for group and dyadic, $185 for individual.
If you practice in Mississauga, here's what usually matters most
Most clinicians who land on this page aren't asking "what does CRPO require?" — that's the same everywhere, and you can read our complete guide to CRPO supervision requirements for the full breakdown. What Mississauga and Peel clinicians actually want to know is more specific: Can I find a qualified supervisor whose clinical focus and schedule fit mine, without losing half a day on the 401? For most people here, the honest answer is that virtual supervision solves that better than anything local-and-in-person can.
So this page is written for the Mississauga reality — the practicum landscape, the Peel commute math, and the employer mix that's distinct to this part of the GTA.
Over 300 Ontario clinicians have trusted us with their clinical supervision, and 87% have returned after their first session.
The Yorkville factor — for MACP and graduate students
This is the single most Mississauga-specific thing worth saying clearly: Yorkville University's footprint and the MACP pipeline mean a large share of clinicians training in or near Mississauga need an external supervisor for their practicum, and the program has particular expectations about who that supervisor can be.
We're an approved external supervisor for Yorkville University's MACP and regularly support practicum students from comparable west-GTA programs. If you're a graduate student whose practicum site requires external supervision, the most useful thing you can do is confirm fit early — email admin@ontariosupervision.ca with your program and we'll tell you straight away whether we're a fit, so you're not scrambling to line up a supervisor mid-practicum. External MACP supervision is priced separately; just ask.
Who we actually work with in Peel Region
Peel has a different clinician mix than downtown Toronto, and it shapes who tends to find us here.
RP (Qualifying) clinicians building hours while the caseload grows. A lot of Peel-based qualifying therapists are juggling a fast-filling private or organizational caseload across Mississauga, Brampton, and Oakville while still needing to accumulate supervised hours. The pressure point is usually scheduling, not credentials — which is why evening cohorts matter here.
Graduate students from west-GTA programs whose practicum sites require an external supervisor (see the Yorkville note above).
Clinic owners and group-practice leads in Peel who'd rather outsource supervision across a team than carry the CRPO-compliance admin in-house. Peel's larger community-mental-health and EAP-network presence means this comes up more here than in some other parts of the province.
Clinicians directed by CRPO to seek additional supervision, who deserve a thoughtful, non-judgmental space to do that work.
CRPO compliance
For supervision to count toward CRPO registration, your supervisor must meet specific credentialing criteria — and CRPO doesn't pre-approve supervisors, so verifying that is on you. Every supervisor on our team meets the requirements, and we handle the paperwork that proves it: CRPO-aligned supervision agreements, automatic hour-tracking documentation through Jane App, and audit-ready receipts and records, delivered across all CRPO-recognized formats — individual, dyadic, and structured group (capped at 8).
For the full requirement-by-requirement walkthrough, see our complete guide to CRPO supervision requirements.
Formats and rates
Group Supervision — $95 per two-hour session. Five specialized weekly cohorts, capped at eight therapists, organized by clinical orientation — integrative, relational/attachment-focused, ACT/EFT, and child & youth — so you're matched to a room that fits your work, not just one with an open seat.
Dyadic Supervision — $95 per supervisee per hour. Paired with one other supervisee for a more focused conversation than group, at a more accessible rate than individual. We'll match you if you don't have a partner in mind.
Individual Supervision — $185 per hour. One-on-one with a supervisor who gets to know your practice. Best for working through specific cases or when you want tailored feedback.

The Peel commute math, made explicit
A common assumption is that "local" supervision means in-person supervision in Mississauga. CRPO doesn't require that — and for most Peel clinicians, the geography argument actually runs the other way.
If you practice in Mississauga or Brampton and your supervisor is downtown, you're not losing an hour to supervision — you're losing the hour plus a return trip on the QEW or the 401 that can swallow another 60 to 90 minutes, often in the exact window you'd otherwise be billing. Virtual supervision means you take the session from your office, your home, or a gap between clients. Evening cohorts mean you don't surrender daytime hours that could be client revenue. And because we work with supervisees across the whole province, the pool of supervisors we can match you to — by orientation and by availability — is deeper than most local-only practices can offer.
If you genuinely prefer in-person supervision, we'd be the first to tell you we're not the right fit. But if your real priority is a qualified supervisor whose focus and schedule line up with yours, the Peel math usually points to virtual.
Hour tracking and attestation
Our Jane App system generates a complete report of every session you've attended with us — dates, times, format, and supervisor — in one click. Attestation forms emailed to admin@ontariosupervision.ca are typically signed and returned within 24 to 48 hours. In our years of providing clinical supervision, we've never had a single hour declined by CRPO.
Mississauga & Peel — frequently asked
Do I need a Mississauga-based supervisor to meet CRPO requirements? No. CRPO's criteria are about your supervisor's credentials, not their location. CRPO-compliant supervision can be delivered virtually anywhere in Ontario.
Can I do supervision from my Mississauga office between clients? Yes, as long as you have a private space and stable internet. Plenty of our Peel supervisees do exactly this — it's one of the more practical ways to fit supervision into a full clinical day.
Do you offer evening sessions? Yes. Several cohorts run in the evening, and individual supervision can usually be arranged outside business hours — built specifically for clinicians who see clients during the day.
Are you an approved supervisor for Yorkville MACP and other west-GTA programs? We're an approved external supervisor for Yorkville University's MACP and regularly support practicum students from comparable programs. If you're unsure your program will accept us, email admin@ontariosupervision.ca and we'll confirm before you commit.
How quickly can I start? Most new supervisees are matched and scheduled within a week of their free consult. Group cohorts have rolling availability; individual and dyadic can usually start sooner.
